Fourth macOS Tahoe 26.4 Beta Now Available for Developers

Overview
Apple today provided the fourth beta of the upcoming macOS Tahoe 26.4 update to developers for testing, a week after the third beta was seeded.
Downloading the beta
Developers can download macOS Tahoe 26.4 by opening System Settings, selecting General, then Software Update. Beta updates must be enabled, and a free developer account is required.
New features in macOS Tahoe 26.4
- Charge Limit – Users can set a maximum charge level between 80 % and 100 %.
- Compact tab layout – Restored in Safari for users who missed it in earlier versions of macOS Tahoe.
Rosetta support
Apple Silicon Macs running apps that still rely on Rosetta will see warnings about the upcoming end of Rosetta support. After macOS Tahoe 27, Rosetta will be phased out, and all apps must be updated before that time.
