Ferrari and HP made a vivid red laptop with a transparent 'engine bay'

The HP Scuderia Ferrari AI PC is a limited‑run notebook (4,999 units) that marks Ferrari’s return to the laptop market, timed with the Monaco Grand Prix. Priced at $5,599, the machine blends Ferrari’s iconic design language with HP’s engineering reliability.
Design
The laptop’s vivid red finish—dubbed Rosso Magma—mirrors the sheen of Ferrari’s Icona Daytona SP3. The palm‑rest features a lenticular coating that creates a motion‑blur effect.

Most of the chassis is anodized aluminum with a CNC‑machined surface. Flipping the device reveals a carbon‑fiber base reminiscent of a supercar’s underbody. A transparent “engine bay” panel—made of Gorilla Glass with 2,000 drilled holes—exposes the processor and cooling system, along with a laser‑etched serial number and hidden Easter eggs for Ferrari enthusiasts.
The hinge draws inspiration from Ferrari’s F76 digital hypercar, featuring concentric louvers that channel airflow. When opened, the trackpad is nearly invisible, highlighted only by a slim illuminated line beneath the keyboard.
