Claude gains new third‑party connectors

Anthropic announced that Claude is adding integration with a wide range of third‑party services, including Spotify, Uber, Resy, and many others. Like Gemini’s connected apps, Claude can now interact with these services to perform tasks such as ordering food, making reservations, and assisting with financial projects.

Highlights

• Uber Eats, Instacart, and Resy – help you order meals or book restaurant reservations.
• Intuit TurboTax – the TurboTax add‑on (available here) provides “expert‑backed AI” that can generate real‑time tax estimates and instant refund projections, powered by the same framework TurboTax uses. Claude cannot fully complete a tax return, but it can help you get started.
• Spotify – deeper integration lets Claude offer music and podcast recommendations and supports Spotify Connect to move music between devices and speakers.
