ChatGPT Pro $100 Subscription

OpenAI has rolled out a new Pro subscription that costs $100, matching Anthropic’s (Claude) pricing. Anthropic also offers a $100 tier alongside a $200 “Max” monthly plan.
Existing OpenAI tiers (until now)
- Go – approximately $8
- Plus – $20
- Max – $200 (a $180 jump from Plus)
Anthropic does not have an $8 tier, but it offers a $100 subscription that sits between its $20 and $200 plans, targeting the coding audience. OpenAI’s new ChatGPT Pro is designed for users who rely on AI for high‑stakes, complex work at the same price point.
Updated OpenAI subscription lineup
- Plus – $20 – For lighter use. Access advanced capabilities like Codex and Deep Research for select projects throughout the week.
- Pro – $100 – Built for real projects. Offers 5× higher limits than Plus (and 10× Codex usage vs. Plus for a limited time).
- Pro – $200 – For heavy lifting. Run demanding workflows continuously, even across parallel projects, with 20× higher limits than Plus.
All Pro plans include access to advanced features:
- Pro models
- Codex
- Deep research
- Image creation
- Memory
- File uploads
OpenAI states the Pro plan also includes unlimited access to GPT‑5 and legacy models, though standard “Terms of Use” policies (including account‑sharing restrictions) still apply.
