New Studio Displays Overview
Apple announced a new family of displays alongside its latest MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. The lineup includes a $1,599 Studio Display and a $3,299 Studio Display XDR. Both 27‑inch models feature upgraded cameras, enhanced connectivity, and advanced audio systems.
Camera and Desk View
- 12 MP Center Stage camera with improved image quality.
- Desk View support, showing both your face and an overhead view of your desk simultaneously.
Audio and Microphones
- Three‑microphone array.
- Six‑speaker sound system with Spatial Audio, delivering 30 % deeper bass than the previous generation.
Studio Display
- Display: 5K Retina, >14 million pixels, 600 nits brightness.
- Color: P3 wide‑gamut.
- Connectivity: Thunderbolt 5 ports with daisy‑chain capability for up to four displays (Thunderbolt 5 Pro cable included).
