Overview
Apple today released new beta firmware for the AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Pro 3, and AirPods 4. The firmware is currently limited to developers and carries the build number 8B5034f.
Firmware Details
Apple is not testing any iOS updates at the moment, so the exact changes in the AirPods firmware beta are unclear.
Installation
With iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe, a beta firmware update option appears in the AirPods settings interface when the AirPods are connected to an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, facilitating beta testing.
