Android 17 Beta 4
Android 17 Beta 4 is the last scheduled beta for this development cycle. Since platform stability was already achieved in Beta 3, there are few new features to discuss—except for Google’s newest Android Easter egg.
Over the past beta releases, Google has been subtly modifying the Android 17 logo, adding more of a swirl to its planetary design. The final form of that logo is now officially part of the Easter egg.
How to Access the Easter Egg
- Open Settings → About phone.
- Locate Android version.
- Tap repeatedly on the version number.
The New Logo
After the taps, a new logo appears. To reveal it, you need to “connect the stars.” The simplest method is to draw a large circle, but any pattern that links the stars will work.
Long‑pressing the new logo transitions to the classic Android 16 space game.

The long‑press takes you back to the Android 16 space game, which also appeared in Android 15. It remains to be seen whether any new gameplay elements have been added.
