자율주행 소프트웨어 스타트업 RideFlux의 정하욱 부대표가 자율주행 AI 기술 혁신 공로를 인정받아 대통령 표창을 수상했다.

정 부대표는 지난 19일 서울 코엑스 마곡에서 열린 ‘제61회 발명의 날’ 기념식에서 대통령 표창을 받았다. 발명의 날 유공 포상은 Korean Intellectual Property Office가 주최하고 Korea Invention Promotion Association이 주관하는 행사로, 국가 산업 발전에 기여한 발명과 기술 혁신 성과를 대상으로 수여된다.

정 부대표는 자율주행 AI 핵심 기술인 인지·예측 기술을 독자 개발하고 이를 기반으로 국내 최초 무인 자율주행 허가를 이끌어낸 점에서 공로를 인정받았다.

107건 특허 출원…국산 자율주행 기술 고도화

정 부대표는 2018년 회사 설립 초기부터 합류해 레벨4 완전 자율주행 기술 국산화를 주도해왔다. 현재까지 국내외 특허 107건 출원과 81건 등록 과정에 직접 발명자로 참여하며 기술 경쟁력을 구축했다.

특히 자율주행 기술 생태계 확대를 위해 구글 Waymo 공개 데이터셋(23만 장)을 넘어서는 약 40만 장 규모의 자율주행 데이터셋을 일반에 공개한 점도 주목받고 있다. 업계에서는 국내 AI 및 자율주행 연구 기반 확대에 기여한 사례로 평가하고 있다.

글로벌 기술 경쟁력도 입증했다. 정 부대표가 참여한 연구팀은 세계적 AI 학회 CVPR 2025 자율주행 워크숍 ‘웨이모 오픈 데이터셋 챌린지’에서 인지부터 제어까지 AI가 스스로 수행하는 E2E(End-to-End) 자율주행 분야 세계 3위를 기록했다.

또한 Chung-Ang University 겸임교수로 활동하며 AI 전문 인력 양성과 산학 협력에도 참여하고 있다. 서울대학교(Seoul National University), KAIST, 한양대학교(Hanyang University) 등과의 협력 프로젝트도 추진 중이다.

라이드플럭스는 현재 서울 상암에서 안전요원 없이 운행하는 로보택시를 시험 운영 중이다. 지난 4월에는 국내 최초로 자율주행 트럭 유상 화물운송 허가도 획득했다.

회사는 올해 동서울-진천과 군산항-전주-대전, 강릉 구간 등에서 자율주행 화물운송 서비스를 확대할 계획이다. 또한 상암 로보택시 공개 서비스를 연내 정식 출시하고, 로보택시 무인화 기술을 자율주행 트럭에 적용해 2027년에는 미들마일 물류 무인화까지 추진한다는 전략이다.

기업공개(IPO) 준비도 진행 중이다. 라이드플럭스는 현재까지 총 882억 원 규모의 누적 투자를 유치했으며 최근 기술성평가에서 전문기관 두 곳 모두로부터 ‘A’ 등급을 획득해 코스닥 기술특례상장 예비심사 청구 자격을 확보했다.

정하욱 부대표는 “안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 자율주행 AI 기술 개발을 위해 노력해온 팀의 성과가 국가적으로 인정받은 것 같아 의미 있게 생각한다”며 “대한민국이 글로벌 자율주행 시장의 표준을 주도할 수 있도록 원천 기술 경쟁력을 더욱 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

“Released Data Surpassing Waymo”… Ridriflux Vice President Jeong Ha-wook Receives Presidential Commendation

Ha-Wook Jeong, Vice President of the autonomous driving software startup RideFlux , received a Presidential Commendation in recognition of his contributions to innovation in autonomous driving AI technology.

Vice President Jeong received a Presidential Commendation at the ceremony for the 61st Invention Day held at COEX Magok in Seoul on the 19th. The Invention Day Merit Awards are presented at an event hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office and organized by the Korea Invention Promotion Association , recognizing inventions and technological innovation achievements that have contributed to national industrial development.

Vice President Jeong was recognized for his contributions in independently developing perception and prediction technologies, which are core AI technologies for autonomous driving, and in leading the nation’s first unmanned autonomous driving permit based on them.

107 Patent Applications… Advancement of Domestic Autonomous Driving Technology

Vice President Jeong joined the company in 2018 and has led the localization of Level 4 fully autonomous driving technology. To date, he has built technological competitiveness by directly participating as an inventor in the process of filing 107 domestic and international patents and registering 81 of them.

In particular, attention is being drawn to the public release of an autonomous driving dataset of approximately 400,000 images, which exceeds Google Waymo’s public dataset (230,000 images), in order to expand the autonomous driving technology ecosystem. The industry evaluates this as a case that contributed to expanding the foundation of domestic AI and autonomous driving research.

Global technological competitiveness has also been proven. The research team led by Vice President Jeong ranked third globally in the End-to-End (E2E) autonomous driving category, where AI independently performs tasks ranging from perception to control, at the ‘Waymo Open Dataset Challenge’ held at the CVPR 2025 Autonomous Driving Workshop, a global AI conference.

In addition, he serves as an adjunct professor at Chung-Ang University , participating in the training of AI professionals and industry-academia collaboration. He is also pursuing collaborative projects with Seoul National University, KAIST , Hanyang University, and others.

RideFlux is currently test-operating a robotaxi without safety personnel in Sangam, Seoul. Last April, it also obtained the first permit in Korea for paid cargo transportation using autonomous trucks.

The company plans to expand its autonomous cargo transportation services this year on routes including East Seoul-Jincheon, Gunsan Port-Jeonju-D

aejeon, and Gangneung. In addition, it plans to officially launch the Sangam Robo-taxi public service within the year and apply Robo-taxi unmanned technology to autonomous trucks, with a strategy to achieve unmanned middle-mile logistics by 2027.

Preparations for an initial public offering (IPO) are also underway. RideFlux has attracted a total of 88.2 billion won in cumulative investment to date and recently secured eligibility to apply for a preliminary review for a technology special listing on the KOSDAQ after receiving an ‘A’ grade from both specialized institutions in a technology evaluation.

自律走行ソフトウェアスタートアップRideFluxのチョン・ハウク副代表が自律走行AI技術革新功労を認められ、大統領表彰を受賞した。

チョン副代表は去る19日ソウルコエックス馬曲で開かれた「第61回発明の日」記念式で大統領表彰を受けた。発明の日の有功賞は、 Korean Intellectual Property Officeが主催し、 Korea Invention Promotion Associationが主催する行事であり、国家産業の発展に寄与した発明と技術革新の成果を対象に授与される。

鄭副代表は自律走行AIの核心技術である認知・予測技術を独自開発し、これを基盤に国内初の無人自律走行許可を引き出した点で功労を認められた。

107件の特許出願…国産自律走行技術の高度化

チョン副代表は2018年に会社設立初期から合流し、レベル4完全自律走行技術の国産化を主導してきた。現在まで、国内外特許107件の出願と81件の登録過程に直接発明者として参加し、技術競争力を構築した。

特に、自律走行技術の生態系拡大のためにGoogle Waymo公開データセット（23万枚）を超える約40万枚規模の自律走行データセットを一般に公開した点も注目されている。業界では国内ＡＩ及び自律走行研究基盤の拡大に寄与した事例で評価している。

グローバル技術競争力も立証した。チョン副代表が参加した研究チームは、世界的AI学会CVPR 2025自律走行ワークショップ「ウェイモオープンデータセットチャレンジ」で認知から制御までAIが自ら遂行するE2E（End-to-End）自律走行分野世界3位を記録した。

また、 Chung-Ang University兼任教授として活動し、AI専門人材養成と産学協力にも参加している。 ソウル大学（Seoul National University） 、 KAIST 、 漢陽大学（Hanyang University）などとの協力プロジェクトも推進中だ。

ライドフラックスは現在、ソウル上岩で安全要員なしで運行するロボタクシーを試験運営中だ。去る4月には国内初で自律走行トラック有償貨物輸送許可も獲得した。

同社は今年、東ソウル-鎮川と群山港-全州-大田、江陵区間などで自律走行貨物輸送サービスを拡大する計画だ。また、上岩ロボタクシー公開サービスを年内正式発売し、ロボタクシー無人化技術を自律走行トラックに適用し、2027年にはミドルマイル物流無人化まで推進するという戦略だ。

企業公開（IPO）の準備も進行中だ。ライドフラックスは現在まで総882億ウォン規模の累積投資を誘致し、最近技術成績で専門機関の両方で「A」等級を獲得し、コスダック技術特例上場予備審査請求資格を確保した。

チョン・ハウク副代表は「安全で信頼できる自律走行AI技術開発のために努力してきたチームの成果が国家的に認められたように意味があると思う」とし「大韓民国がグローバル自律走行市場の標準を主導できるように源泉技術競争力をさらに強化していく」と話した。

自动驾驶软件初创公司RideFlux的副总裁郑河旭 (Ha-Wook Jeong) 因其对自动驾驶人工智能技术创新的贡献而获得总统嘉奖。

19日，在首尔COEX麻谷会展中心举行的第61届韩国发明日颁奖典礼上，副总统郑某荣获总统嘉奖。韩国发明日优秀奖由韩国知识产权局主办， 韩国发明促进协会承办，旨在表彰为国家产业发展做出贡献的发明和技术创新成就。

郑副总统因其在独立开发感知和预测技术（自动驾驶的核心人工智能技术）以及领导该国首个基于这些技术的无人驾驶自动驾驶许可证方面所做出的贡献而受到表彰。

107项专利申请……国内自动驾驶技术的进步

郑副总裁于2018年加入公司，领导了L4级全自动驾驶技术的本土化研发。迄今为止，他作为发明人直接参与了107项国内外专利申请，其中81项已获注册，从而提升了公司的技术竞争力。

尤其值得关注的是，一项包含约40万张图像的自动驾驶数据集的公开发布，其规模超过了谷歌Waymo的公开数据集（23万张图像），旨在扩展自动驾驶技术生态系统。业内人士认为，此举有助于夯实国内人工智能和自动驾驶研究的基础。

全球技术竞争力也得到了证明。在CVPR 2025自动驾驶研讨会（一个全球人工智能会议）上举办的“Waymo开放数据集挑战赛”中，由副会长郑领导的研究团队在端到端（E2E）自动驾驶类别中获得了全球第三名，该类别中人工智能能够独立执行从感知到控制的各种任务。

此外，他还担任中央大学的兼职教授，参与人工智能专业人才的培养和产学研合作。他还与首尔大学、韩国科学技术院（KAIST） 、汉阳大学等高校开展合作项目。

RideFlux目前正在首尔上岩洞测试运营无人驾驶出租车。去年4月，该公司还获得了韩国首个使用自动驾驶卡车进行付费货物运输的许可证。

该公司计划今年在包括首尔东部-镇川、群山港-全州-大田和江陵在内的多条线路上扩展其自动驾驶货物运输服务。此外，该公司还计划在年内正式推出上岩町无人驾驶出租车公共服务，并将无人驾驶出租车技术应用于自动驾驶卡车，其战略目标是到2027年实现无人驾驶的中程物流。

Le vice-président Jeong a été reconnu pour sa contribution au développement indépendant des technologies de perception et de prédiction, qui sont des technologies d’IA essentielles pour la conduite autonome, et pour avoir dirigé la première délivrance de permis de conduite autonome sans pilote du pays basée sur ces technologies.

107 demandes de brevets… Développement de la technologie de conduite autonome nationale

Le vice-président Jeong a rejoint l’entreprise en 2018 et a piloté le déploiement local de la technologie de conduite entièrement autonome de niveau 4. À ce jour, il a contribué à la compétitivité technologique de l’entreprise en participant directement, en tant qu’inventeur, au dépôt de 107 brevets nationaux et internationaux, dont 81 ont été enregistrés.

L’attention se porte notamment sur la publication d’un ensemble de données de conduite autonome d’environ 400 000 images, dépassant ainsi celui de Google Waymo (230 000 images), afin de développer l’écosystème technologique de la conduite autonome. Le secteur considère cette initiative comme un facteur contribuant à consolider les bases de la recherche nationale en intelligence artificielle et en conduite autonome.

La compétitivité technologique mondiale a également été démontrée. L’équipe de recherche dirigée par le vice-président Jeong s’est classée troisième au niveau mondial dans la catégorie « Conduite autonome de bout en bout » (E2E), où l’IA effectue de manière indépendante des tâches allant de la perception au contrôle, lors du « Waymo Open Dataset Challenge » organisé dans le cadre de l’atelier sur la conduite autonome CVPR 2025, une conférence mondiale sur l’IA.

Par ailleurs, il est professeur associé à l’université Chung-Ang , où il participe à la formation de professionnels de l’IA et à la collaboration entre l’industrie et le monde universitaire. Il mène également des projets de collaboration avec l’université nationale de Séoul, KAIST , l’université Hanyang et d’autres institutions.

RideFlux teste actuellement un robotaxi sans personnel de sécurité à Sangam, Séoul. En avril dernier, l’entreprise a également obtenu la première autorisation en Corée pour le transport payant de marchandises par camions autonomes.

L’entreprise prévoit d’étendre cette année ses services de transport de marchandises autonomes sur des axes tels que Séoul-Jincheon, Gunsan-Jeonju-Daejeon et Gangneung. Par ailleurs, elle prévoit de lancer officiellement le service public de taxis autonomes Sangam (Sangam Robo-taxi) dans le courant de l’année et d’appliquer la technologie de conduite sans conducteur des taxis autonomes aux camions autonomes, avec pour objectif une logistique du demi-kilomètre entièrement automatisée d’ici 2027.

Les préparatifs en vue d’une introduction en bourse (IPO) sont également en cours. RideFlux a levé à ce jour un total de 88,2 milliards de wons d’investissements cumulés et a récemment obtenu l’éligibilité pour une évaluation préliminaire en vue d’une cotation spéciale technologique sur le KOSDAQ, après avoir reçu la note « A » de deux organismes spécialisés lors d’une évaluation technologique.

Le vice-président Jeong Ha-wook a déclaré : « Je trouve significatif que les réalisations de notre équipe, qui s’est efforcée de développer une technologie d’IA de conduite autonome sûre et fiable, aient été reconnues au niveau national », ajoutant : « Nous allons renforcer davantage notre compétitivité dans les technologies de base afin que la Corée du Sud puisse être un chef de file des normes sur le marché mondial de la conduite autonome. »
