AI 교육 기업 WeaversBrain이 SK그룹 주도의 AI 연합체 ‘K-AI 얼라이언스’에 합류하며 대화형 AI 기술 협력 확대에 나선다.

K-AI 얼라이언스는 SK Telecom이 2023년 출범시킨 민간 중심 AI 기술 협력 네트워크다. 현재 Nota AI, Rebellions, Moloco, Twelve Labs 등 국내외 AI 기업 46개사가 참여하고 있으며, 최근에는 SK수펙스추구협의회 AI위원회가 운영을 맡으며 그룹 차원의 협력 체계로 확대되고 있다.

연합체는 국방과 제조, 헬스케어, 로보틱스 등 다양한 산업 영역에서 공동 기술 개발과 사업 협력, 글로벌 시장 진출 등을 추진하고 있다. 위버스브레인은 이번 합류를 통해 전체 회원사 가운데 에듀테크 분야 유일 기업으로 이름을 올리게 됐다.

대화형 AI 핵심 기술 전 단계 자체 구축

위버스브레인은 대화형 AI 에이전트 구현에 필요한 핵심 기술을 자체 개발해온 기업이다. 음성 감지(VAD)와 음성 인식(STT), 음성 합성(TTS) 등 대화형 AI 파이프라인 전 단계를 직접 구축했으며, 특히 TTS 분야에서는 동아시아권 이중 언어 발화(코드스위칭) 환경에서도 자연스러운 음성 구현이 가능한 독자 기술을 확보했다고 설명했다.

또한 누적 6억8,000만 건 규모의 실제 학습자 발화 데이터를 기반으로 대규모 언어모델(LLM) 파인튜닝을 고도화하며 교육 환경에 특화된 대화형 AI 서비스를 운영하고 있다.

회사는 이번 K-AI 얼라이언스 참여를 계기로 발화 데이터 기반 AI 역량을 연합체 내 다양한 협력 모델에 접목하고 기술 교류와 공동 사업화 기회를 확대할 계획이다. 기업 교육과 글로벌 학습 플랫폼 등 인접 시장 진출 역시 이번 협력을 통해 가속화한다는 전략이다.

AI education company WeaversBrain is joining the SK Group-led AI alliance ‘K-AI Alliance’ to expand cooperation in conversational AI technology.

The K-AI Alliance is a private-sector-led AI technology cooperation network launched by SK Telecom in 2023. Currently, 46 domestic and international AI companies, including Nota AI , Rebellions , Moloco , and Twelve Labs, are participating, and recently, the SK SUPEX Council AI Committee has taken over its operation, expanding it into a group-level cooperation system.

The alliance is pursuing joint technology development, business cooperation, and global market expansion across various industrial sectors, including defense, manufacturing, healthcare, and robotics. With this joining, WeaversBrain has become the only company in the edutech sector among all members.

In-house development of core conversational AI technology at every stage

WeaversBrain is a company that has independently developed the core technologies necessary for implementing conversational AI agents. The company explained that it has directly built every stage of the conversational AI pipeline, including Voice Detection (VAD), Speech-to-Text (STT), and Text-to-Speech (TTS), and specifically in the TTS field, it has secured proprietary technology capable of producing natural speech even in the bilingual (code-switching) environments of East Asia.

In addition, we are operating conversational AI services specialized for educational environments by enhancing large-scale language model (LLM) fine-tuning based on accumulated 680 million actual learner speech data.

Leveraging its participation in the K-AI Alliance, the company plans to integrate speech data-based AI capabilities into various collaboration models within the coalition and expand opportunities for technology exchange and joint commercialization. The strategy also includes accelerating entry into adjacent markets, such as corporate education and global learning platforms, through this collaboration.

インタラクティブなAIコア技術の全段階自己構築

ウィーバースブレインは、インタラクティブなAIエージェントの実装に必要なコア技術を自社開発してきた企業です。音声感知（VAD）と音声認識（STT）、音声合成（TTS）など対話型AIパイプラインの全段階を直接構築し、特にTTS分野では東アジア圏の二言語発話（コードスイッチング）環境でも自然な音声実装が可能な独自技術を確保したと説明した。

Développement interne de la technologie d’IA conversationnelle de base à chaque étape

Weverse Brain est une entreprise qui a développé de manière indépendante les technologies fondamentales nécessaires à la mise en œuvre d’agents d’IA conversationnelle. Elle explique avoir conçu elle-même chaque étape du processus d’IA conversationnelle, notamment la détection vocale (VAD), la transcription vocale (STT) et la synthèse vocale (TTS). Plus précisément, dans le domaine de la synthèse vocale, elle a acquis une technologie propriétaire capable de produire un discours naturel, même dans les environnements bilingues (alternance codique) d’Asie de l’Est.

De plus, nous exploitons des services d’IA conversationnelle spécialisés pour les environnements éducatifs en améliorant le réglage fin du modèle de langage à grande échelle (LLM) basé sur 680 millions de données de parole réelles d’apprenants accumulées.
