当我们今天谈论扩展时，往往并不是指机器。
我们指的是信息。
口头和书面的文字。
看到并分享的图像。
被发现、排序、汇总并重新组合的数据。
可扩展的并不仅是计算，而是叠加在现实之上的意义层。这是 信息的元层。它包括我们对世界产生的数据、描述世界的语言、我们流通的表征，以及决定哪些内容可见的系统。
Search results.
Feeds.
Summaries.
Reports.
Dashboards.
Models.这些都不是现实本身。它们是解释。
历史摩擦
很长一段时间里，这一层增长缓慢。
Human attention was limited.
Editorial judgment created friction.
Physical media imposed constraints.那种摩擦已经消失。

当信息的元层级扩展时，根本性的变化出现：表征先于经验。
Reality is no longer encountered first and described later.
It is described first — and often only encountered through that description.这种转变呼应了 Simulacra and Simulation 所描述的从现实到表征的过渡——只不过今天，表征不仅仅取代现实。它日益成为本身的参照点。
小规模收益
It compresses complexity.
It highlights patterns.
It saves time.大规模后果
在大规模上，它开始取代直接经验。

Expression bends toward what systems can process.

Information is increasingly produced from other information.
Texts reference texts.
Models are trained on model‑generated data.
