So… I built something: a small browser extension that tells you when a website you’re visiting might be using your data to train AI models. It’s not dramatic, but I’d love your help making it better.

Why I Built WTOM

What WTOM Is

WTOM（WhoTrainedOnMe）是一个适用于 Chrome、基于 Chromium 的浏览器以及 Firefox 的浏览器扩展。当你访问一个站点时，WTOM 会检查该平台是否：

• 在用户数据上进行 AI 训练
• AI 政策不明确
• 以你未预期或令人怀疑的方式使用你的数据

How WTOM Works (A Lot of Manual Research)

1. Read privacy policies – I review each site’s terms and privacy documentation.
   阅读隐私政策 – 我会审阅每个站点的条款和隐私文档。
2. Assign a rule – Every website gets a rule based on:
   分配规则 – 每个网站都会依据以下因素得到一条规则：
   • AI training status
   • AI 训练状态
   • Transparency level
   • 透明度水平
   • Opt‑out method
   • 退出方式
   • Available contact or protest channels
   • 可用的联系或抗议渠道
   • Overall behavior
   • 整体行为

这项研究耗时但至关重要。WTOM 的准确性直接取决于这项手动工作的质量，这也是我需要社区帮助的原因。

I Need Your Help: Report Websites

WTOM now includes a simple reporting feature. If you encounter a site that:

• Trains AI on user data
• Has an unclear AI policy
• Uses your data in unexpected or suspicious ways

you can report it directly from the extension. Reports are sent to me anonymously, after which I investigate the site and, if warranted, add it to the database. This crowdsourced feedback is the only way WTOM can grow and stay up‑to‑date.

WTOM 现在加入了一个简易的报告功能。如果你遇到一个站点：
