Power outages can easily throw a wrench in your daily life. And so, having a power backup becomes vital, whether your grid fails because of an expected weather event, like a hurricane or heavy snowfall, or because of aging infrastructure struggling to keep up with the increasing needs of a community, especially with new AI data centers popping up out of nowhere.

Jackery is among the brands we’ve tested and recommended extensively for its home power backup systems, and it has now come up with a few new offerings for different needs.

Jackery has now revealed new products that will help you brave through a power outage. These include power stations in the HomePower series, each offering varying battery capacities from 1kWh to 3.6kWh. Along with them is a dedicated battery solution for vital appliances, such as your refrigerator.

Jackery HomePower 3600 Pro Max

Jackery

Starting with the new home backup systems, there are three options, with the most powerful being the HomePower 3600 Pro Max. The number in the name indicates the battery capacity, which is 3,584Wh. Jackery says you can stack several of these together to get a total power output of 43kWh, which supposedly can last up to 9 days. Expect there to be fine print there about using bigger appliances like air conditioners conservatively.

In addition to three AC (alternating current) outlets, the HomePower 3600 Pro Max gets two USB ports to charge your devices in case of a crunch. Like other home power backup systems, the 3600 Pro Max seamlessly switches over from the main grid in 10ms, so you wouldn’ t even notice.

For recharging, the Home Power 3600 Pro features standard AC outlets along with a high-power 40-ampere input. The latter, Jackery says, allows the mighty battery pack to juice up in 80 minutes. The company also claims it can last over 16 years of use and is expected to retain 70% of its capacity even after 6,000 complete charging cycles.

Jackery HomePower 2000 Plus v2 and HomePower 1000 v2

Jackery

The new 2000Wh variant is also positioned as a home backup system, though it’s relatively more portable. Despite its size, the HomePower 2000 Plus v2 is claimed to operate an air conditioner for 2.5 hours and a refrigerator for 48 hours. It’s also 21 pounds lighter than the v1 and can also be hooked to your solar power systems rated for up to 800W, including Jackery’s own diverse lineup.

Just like the more powerful variant above, you can daisy-chain several of the HomePower 2000 Plus v2 units together for a total output of up to 12kW.

For the HomePower 1000 v2, Jackery targets smaller appliances and devices, including computers and laptops. Its 1,024Wh capacity is ideal for keeping essentials, such as your Wi‑Fi router and home entertainment servers, powered. The system uses a LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, which is known to be thermally more stable than traditional acid batteries.

The HomePower 1000 v2 is claimed to fully charge in less than an hour, with a lifespan of up to 16 years or 6,000 cycles.

Jackery FridgeGuard

Jackery

In addition to the home power backup solutions, the FridgeGuard acts as a dedicated UPS for specific appliances. It comes with a slim 2.6-inch profile, which makes it easy to blend with the rest of the appliances or even to keep it tucked out of sight. The FridgeGuard comes with a 1,024Wh battery that can power crucial appliances or medical equipment for an estimated 15 hours. Like the rest, it also supports expansion with additional batteries.

It’s also much easier to connect; you can plug it directly into a wall socket and then connect your refrigerator or other appliance to it, so it works without any special wiring.

Besides powering your fridge during a blackout, the FridgeGuard also prevents it from sudden spikes that could damage it. Additionally, it supports a bypass mode, which delivers power straight to the fridge when the battery charges fully.

Pricing

Jackery has shared the following prices for its three HomePower systems:

  • HomePower 3600 Pro Max: $2,999 usually, but early birds get it for $2,199, along with a 6-Circuit Manual Transfer Switch and 40A Charging Cable. Without the accessories, you can get it for just $1,699.

  • HomePower 2000 Plus v2: $1,799, with early bird offers bringing a 50% cut, lowering the price to $899.

  • HomePower 1000 v2: $849, but early adopters get it for $749 with a 200W solar panel and $499 without one.

These offers are, however, only valid between June 23 and 26. These can be bought via Jackery’s website.

Meanwhile, the FridgeGuard is available exclusively via Costco for $699.99, but you can get it down to $559.99 with a Costco membership.
