Apple AirTags normally ring in at $25 each, which can sometimes be a bit too high to justify tracking easily misplaced items. The newer 2nd‑gen models (see the 2nd‑gen models page) boast a 50 % louder speaker and 1.5× more accurate location software.
That said, the 1st‑gen AirTags still include a speaker for remote locating, and their original location technology remains quite accurate. Plus, they’re cheaper, which is always nice.
