Last week I sat down with 50+ Reddit posts from people stuck in “tutorial hell.” The same pattern kept appearing:
- “I can follow along. I close the video. I open a blank editor. I freeze for 30 minutes.”

I’m not a coder—just someone who wanted to understand why smart people get stuck. I took the most repeated phrases and built a 1‑page diagnostic that asks four questions, takes about 90 seconds, and requires no email or signup. The result is a Google Drive PDF:
