Unboxing and Hands‑On Video
A tech YouTuber known as Sahil Karoul posted a 15‑minute unboxing and hands‑on video that appears to showcase a genuine Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The video was uploaded on Monday, just a couple of days before the expected unveiling of the Galaxy S26 lineup at Galaxy Unpacked on Wednesday afternoon. While there is no definitive proof that the device in the video is the final production model, it looks believable.
Karoul claims he obtained the phone ahead of its release date in a Dubai market. In an Instagram Reel, he shows himself paying cash for the device on the street outside a mobile store.
Design and Features
The phone’s basic design is quite similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but with a slightly more prominent rear camera bump. As with previous Ultra models, the device includes an S‑Pen.
Privacy Display
One of the most notable reveals is the first real look at the new Privacy Display feature in action. The display becomes less visible to onlookers from side angles. According to reports, the feature can be toggled on and off in the phone’s settings and does not require a separate screen protector.

Camera and AI Capabilities
Towards the end of the video, Karoul shows sample photos taken with the S26 Ultra’s camera. However, there is no clear indication of the unified AI image editor that Samsung has been promoting ahead of the upcoming Unpacked event. More details on that feature can be found in the article about the Samsung Galaxy S26 AI photo editing suite.
Outlook
All of this speculation will be clarified once Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy S26 lineup at Galaxy Unpacked. Stay tuned for the final specifications and feature set.
