If you subscribe to YouTube TV just for a few channels—like live sports—there’s a new option that can help you save money. The streaming TV service recently rolled out a dozen different packages that are cheaper than the full‑access plan (currently $83/month). Instead of paying for everything, you can pay only for the channels you actually watch.

This announcement follows YouTube’s rollout of Premium Lite, a lower‑cost tier that provides ad‑free viewing on YouTube, background play, and video downloads. Flexible pricing comes as streaming services get more expensive and users have plenty of options.
The savings range from $5 to $20 per month. Long‑term subscribers will see the savings add up, and first‑time subscribers receive a small discount on each plan. All plans still include YouTube TV benefits such as unlimited DVR and multiview.
