Overview

Belkin has announced a new version of one of its first accessories for the Switch 2 at CES 2026. The Charging Case Pro for Nintendo Switch 2 carries forward the same 10,000 mAh internal battery as the original, but it’s been redesigned so you don’t need to remove the battery to charge it, and you no longer have to open the case to swap out the battery.

Design Changes

  • Added a USB‑C port on the side of the case for charging the case itself.
  • The original required you to open the case and plug a cable into the battery’s port.
  • No need to open the case to swap the battery.

Charging Capabilities

  • Supports pass‑through charging, allowing you to charge both the case and the Switch 2 simultaneously.
  • Compatible with the Switch 2’s new 30‑W USB‑C charger.

Availability and Pricing

  • Expected to be available later this year.
  • Priced at $149.99.
