Why I’m Building a 'Growth-First' Form Builder (and why I’m giving away unlimited submissions)

Introduction

Hey DEV community!
Over the last few months, I’ve been looking at popular form‑builder software tools and kept running into one obstacle:

The Problem: The “Success Tax”

As soon as you get traction, the pricing escalates aggressively. Why should someone be penalized for getting more submissions? If a form feels like a chore, people won’t finish it. If it feels fluid and interactive, completion rates skyrocket.

My Solution: FlowyForm

I’m building a tool that focuses on momentum‑based UX and offers unlimited forms and unlimited submissions on the free tier. The goal is to let founders and developers grow their projects without worrying about a massive unexpected bill.

Tech Stack

  • Framework: Next.js (SSR and SEO performance)
  • Styling: Tailwind CSS
  • Icons: Lucide‑React
  • Storage: S3 Object Storage

Key Features

  • Conditional Logic: Build IF/THEN/ELSE flows that are straightforward.
  • Vertical‑Specific Templates: Pre‑built template forms so you don’t have to start from scratch.
  • Clean Integrations: Direct sync to Google Sheets, Slack, and Zapier (more coming soon!).

Call for Feedback

I’m building this in public and would love to hear from other devs:

  • What is the most “painful” part of form builders for you?
  • Does the “unlimited” model make sense to you as a builder?

Happy coding! 🚀
