Ubicloud is an open‑source alternative to AWS. Our cloud services include elastic compute, block storage, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Kubernetes, managed Postgres, and AI inference. Today we serve 500+ customers on our managed cloud.

What we are looking for
- Mid‑stage software engineers (equivalent of a Computer Science degree) with 2–8 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates who have built impressive projects.
- Motivated, talented developers; we value the slope (growth potential) over the y‑intercept (past achievements).
- Experience with managed Postgres or distributed inference architectures is a plus. On the inference side we’re exploring DeepSeek and Kimi’s open‑source architectures.
- Primary hiring locations: San Francisco, the Netherlands, and Turkey. Indicate your preferred location when applying.
About the interview
- Initial screening focuses on signals outlined in the “What we are looking for” section.
- Selected candidates will have an initial phone interview, followed by five interviews in one day (coding, design, and team‑fit). Some may be in‑person depending on location.
- We may include an optional AI‑assisted project session after the regular interview process. It will be brief (less than a day), compensated, and you can indicate your preference.
