Overview
Google’s Find Hub ecosystem is expanding as accessory brands like UAG release their first trackers compatible with the location database. UAG’s new tracker card for Android is available for $45.
Android Find Hub isn’t as well‑known as Apple’s Find My Device network, mainly because it’s newer. Google rebranded the service in mid‑2023 to “Find Hub.” A key advantage is its device‑agnostic nature: it’s built into Android, allowing any Android device to contribute location data.
Design and Build
The Metropolis Tracker Card is a 3 mm‑thick, IPX4‑rated card that works with both iOS and Android. Shaped like a credit card, it fits comfortably in a wallet.

This is UAG’s first tracker compatible with Google Find Hub and the first that doesn’t simply hold an AirTag. (They look pretty slick — see the product on Amazon.) https://amzn.to/40QgyiO
Battery and Charging
- Battery life: Up to 5 months per charge.
- Charging method: Qi wireless charging with an LED indicator for a full charge.
- Additional hardware: Built‑in speaker for quick location alerts.
The device does not support UWB, similar to many other trackers on the market.
Compatibility and Alerts
- iOS users: The card includes proximity alerts, but these do not function on the Google Find Hub side.
- Android users: Full compatibility with Find Hub, providing reliable location tracking.
Pricing and Availability
At $45, the Metropolis Card Tracker is priced higher than some alternatives, but the convenience of wireless charging and its slim, wallet‑friendly form factor may justify the cost.
The tracker is available now from the UAG website.
