Accessing Copilot usage metrics

You can now retrieve your organization’s Copilot usage metrics via the Copilot usage APIs.
The APIs provide aggregated and user‑specific reports, including:

• Usage statistics for various Copilot features
• User engagement data
• Feature adoption metrics

To view these metrics, the Copilot usage metrics policy must be enabled.

Enabling the Copilot usage metrics policy

Enterprise accounts

1. Go to the Enterprises page.
2. Select your enterprise.
3. Click the AI Controls tab.
4. In the left sidebar, choose Copilot and scroll to Metrics.
5. Select Enabled everywhere.

Standalone organization accounts

1. Navigate to the Organization page.
2. Select your organization and open the Settings tab.
3. In the left sidebar, go to Copilot > Policies.
4. Scroll to Features > Copilot usage metrics and select Enabled.

Permissions

Organization owners and users with a custom role that includes the View Organization Copilot Metrics permission can access the API.
