This mechanical bird drops dead when your home’s air quality worsens

Overview
When air quality drops, the mechanical bird simulates fainting and death by succumbing to gravity and hanging upside‑down.
The original Birdie debuted in 2022 with a morbid‑but‑fun design – an air‑quality monitor with a literal canary in a coal mine. When the CO₂ level in your home reached a certain threshold, a mechanical bird mounted on the wall would appear to drop dead, prompting you to open a window and air things out. Once the air quality improved, the bird miraculously came back to life.
The new Birdie Pro carries forward that same design and approach, but adds additional sensors for a more comprehensive analysis of your home environment.

Features
- Multi‑sensor suite: In addition to CO₂ detection, Birdie Pro monitors temperature, humidity, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
- Real‑time feedback: The bird’s motion provides an immediate visual cue when air quality deteriorates.
- Automatic recovery: Once conditions improve, the bird returns to its upright, “alive” position.
- Wall‑mountable design: Compact and decorative, suitable for any room.
