The Pixel 11 Could Be the Next Victim of the RAM Shortage
Source: Slashdot
Overview
Google’s Pixel 11 lineup could see RAM cuts or lower starting configurations because of the global memory shortage. Leaks suggest the base model may drop from 12 GB to 8 GB, while Pro models could add 12 GB versions below the current 16 GB tier. According to The Verge, there will be 16 GB configurations available for each, but adding a lower‑spec model could mean the 16 GB version gets a price hike. MysticLeaks also reports camera upgrades and brighter displays for the Pro models. The RAM shortage is pushing other phone makers, including Samsung, to raise prices as well.
