The new iPhones have a problem turning back on after the battery runs out
Source: 9to5Mac
Problem description
Last night, my iPhone Air battery went to zero around 11 PM. I plugged in the USB‑C charging cable within seconds of it shutting down, assuming it would immediately boot up again, as you would expect. However, it didn’t. Minutes passed and nothing happened. There was no low‑battery indicator visible on the screen; the display remained black, as if the phone were dead.
Reports from other users
It turns out this is a known issue. Several online threads contain posts from other iPhone owners describing the exact same problem across iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone Air models.
