The debut game from a new studio formed by Just Cause creator Christofer Sundberg, Samson: A Tyndalston Story, is set to release on April 8. Players assume the role of Samson McRay, a down‑on‑his‑luck protagonist drowning in debt in the gritty city of Tyndalston.

Gameplay

“Samson is built on a simple, brutal truth: every day has a cost,” the developer explained in a press release. “Debt grows with interest, and time is not on your side. Each job burns a limited pool of Action Points, and every decision shifts how the city treats you—there are no do‑overs. Players have to move forward because standing still makes everything worse.”

Sundberg, who admits to having spent much of his career creating “massive” games, says his studio aimed to craft a bloat‑free experience for fans of gritty ‘90s action flicks.
