The iPhone Air MagSafe battery is cheaper than ever right now

Battery Life of iPhone Air
We found the iPhone Air to have a pretty decent battery life for such a thin‑and‑light phone, somewhere in the region of 27 hours if you’re continuously streaming video. But it’s still a phone—arguably your most used device on a daily basis—so you may need to top it up during the day if you’re using it constantly.
MagSafe Battery Pack
Apple’s iPhone Air MagSafe battery pack comes in at a slim 7.5 mm, so it doesn’t add much bulk to the already thin phone. The MagSafe battery isn’t enormous at 3,149 mAh (enough to add an extra ~65 % of charge to the Air), but it can wirelessly charge the AirPods Pro 3 as well, making it a useful travel companion. You can also charge your iPhone while the battery pack itself is charging.
Pricing
At its regular price of $99, the MagSafe battery pack is a pricey add‑on to an already expensive phone. It is currently on sale for $79, a $20 discount, which makes it a more attractive option for those who consider it an “essential accessory,” as noted by Engadget’s Sam Rutherford in his iPhone Air review.
Compatibility and Alternatives
The accessory works only with the iPhone Air. Many Apple loyalists prefer first‑party accessories, but there are plenty of third‑party MagSafe chargers that are considerably cheaper than Apple’s lineup. See Engadget’s guide to the best MagSafe power banks for alternatives.
