TL;DR

  • New leaks suggest the Galaxy S27 Pro could share the Ultra line’s main and ultrawide cameras.
  • This would give the Pro model a 200 MP main sensor and a 50 MP ultrawide shooter.
  • One leaker also claims the Pro could feature a larger battery and an upgraded display on par with Ultra phones.

Camera setup

Samsung is reportedly developing a Galaxy S27 Pro, expected to launch alongside the base, Plus, and Ultra models.

Tipster Ice Universe posted on Weibo that the S27 Pro may use the same main and ultrawide cameras as the upcoming S27 Ultra, describing them as “entirely new sensors.” The leaker did not provide detailed specifications, so the information should be taken with caution.

According to Ice Universe, the Pro model will have a different telephoto camera, though details were not disclosed. Many hope Samsung will move away from the aging 10 MP 3× telephoto sensor that has been present on flagships since 2021.

Korean blogger Yeux1122 (via Naver) reported that the S27 Pro’s camera configuration is almost identical to Samsung’s Edge series, citing a “compilation of sources from related companies.” While the blogger did not specify the exact number of lenses, the Galaxy S25 Edge features a 200 MP main sensor and a 50 MP ultrawide shooter, but lacks a telephoto lens. Combined with Ice Universe’s claim, it is plausible that the S27 Pro will at least sport a 200 MP primary camera and a 50 MP ultrawide lens.

Battery and display

Yeux1122 also noted that Samsung may equip the S27 Pro with a larger battery and an upgraded display comparable to the Ultra models.

Earlier leaks from Korean outlet ET News indicated that the S27 Pro would inherit most Ultra‑line features (except for an S Pen) and would sport a 6.47‑inch OLED screen, making it slightly smaller than the Galaxy S26 Plus.

Pricing speculation

The same Naver blog suggested that the S27 Pro could be priced similarly to the Galaxy S25 Edge (around $1,100), though the author warned that many variables could affect the final price.
