Restock Announcement
The Analogue Pocket handheld retro console is back in stock this week, along with the Analogue Dock accessory. Pre‑orders open on March 4 at 11 AM ET (8 AM PST), and shipments are scheduled for June 2026.
“Analogue Pocket & Analogue Dock – restock. A tribute to portable gaming. Out of the box, Pocket is compatible with the 2,780+ Game Boy, Game Boy Color & Game Boy Advance game cartridge library and more. Available March 4th, 8 am PST. Ships June 2026.” – Analogue on Twitter (March 2, 2026)
Price Increase
The new price for the Analogue Pocket will be $240, up from the recent $220. The company attributes the increase to additional tariffs imposed on Chinese‑manufactured goods following a recent Supreme Court decision.
What Is the Analogue Pocket?
- Physical cartridge support – plays original Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance cartridges.
- Accessory integration – works with Game Boy accessories such as the camera and printer.
- Adapter support – can run Game Gear, TurboGrafx‑16, and Atari Lynx games using separate adapters.
- Not an emulator – the device runs the original hardware, not software emulation.
Our Review
In our official review we called the Pocket “a clever little thing” that lights up the nostalgia center of your brain. It also earned a spot on our list of the best handheld consoles, standing out even against competition like the Steam Deck.
How to Purchase
Given the limited supply and the price increase, the restock is expected to sell out quickly. We recommend having a browser tab open on the Analogue website just before 11 AM ET on March 4 to secure a unit at the new price.
