Tecno Pova Neon
China’s Tecno Mobile is known for wild phone concepts, and the company took it to the next level this year at MWC Barcelona.

The Tecno Pova Neon is a concept phone with ionized neon gas lighting up its rear panel, creating a dynamic display of lightning‑like lights. Unlike other phones with static backlighting, this variant is truly random, ensuring the effect stays fresh. While it may not directly improve functionality, it certainly turns heads when you pull it out of your pocket.
Modular Magnetic Interconnection Technology
Then there’s the aptly named Modular Magnetic Interconnection Technology, a concept that features an ultra‑thin base phone that can be expanded with magnetically attached modules.

The system makes adding accessories feel effortless. Modules can be stacked or combined—two batteries, a battery plus an extra speaker, a speaker plus an upgraded camera, and so on.

Some attachments are even larger and heavier than the phone itself.

It’s unclear whether these concepts will reach the market, but they represent a compelling vision for modular phones.
Lamborghini Collaboration
For those who prefer a futuristic phone with a luxury brand badge, Tecno partnered with Lamborghini to produce a series of Lamborghini‑themed accessories, including The Tecno Pova Metal Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition. This model also features a glowing element on the back, a recurring theme across the show floor in Barcelona.
