Steam on Linux Usage Statistics

• November: 3.2%
• December: 3.58%
• January: 3.38%
• February: 2.23%

As with previous sharp drops in Linux usage, the Steam Survey shows a 30% month‑over‑month increase in Simplified Chinese usage. Such language‑usage shifts often indicate reporting anomalies that can negatively affect Linux statistics. Valve frequently publishes corrected or updated figures later, so it remains to be seen whether February’s data will be revised.
