Release Information
Star Wars: Galactic Racer, an upcoming title from former Burnout and Need for Speed developers, was announced at The Game Awards in December. The game is set to launch on October 6 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The release date was first leaked last week and has now been confirmed by developer Fuse Games and publisher Secret Mode.
Gameplay
The action takes place after the fall of the Galactic Empire, when an unsanctioned racing circuit emerges in the Outer Rim. In single‑player mode, you assume the role of Shade, forming alliances and confronting rivals. Players can choose from three types of repulsorcraft—including classic podracers—and customize their vehicles. Online multiplayer supports races with up to 11 other players.
