Spotify launches AI‑generated personal podcasts

If you were swept up in OpenClaw fever earlier this year, Spotify’s newest feature is aimed directly at you. The streaming giant has released a command‑line tool that lets AI agents—such as Claude Code and OpenClaw—create personal podcasts and upload them straight to the platform. The tool is intended for use cases like daily digests, class notes, and other custom audio content.

How the feature works

  • User‑driven requests: Spotify says the addition responds to demand for a way to listen to AI‑generated podcasts within its ecosystem.
  • Community contribution: The feature may also stem from an engineer who built a personal tool and decided to share it publicly.

Getting started

  1. Visit Spotify’s GitHub page and follow the setup instructions.
  2. After installing the tool and logging in, describe the podcast you want to hear.
  3. Ask the AI agent to generate the episode and save it to Spotify.
  4. Use the provided link or locate the podcast in your Spotify library.

Note: Any audio generated through this method is accessible only to you.
