Review

Contouring & Pressure Relief

Based on the advertised deep‑contouring, pressure‑relieving AirCradle foam, I expected pressure relief to be a standout feature, but it was minimal. The mattress did provide some relief, yet it fell short of firmer hybrids such as the DreamCloud Hybrid or the Wolf Memory Foam Hybrid Premium Firm.

Firmness

Saatva rates this mattress between 5 and 7 on its firmness scale, placing it in the medium‑firm range. In practice, unless you weigh over 200 lb or have a taller build, you’ll experience more sinkage. To me it felt like a true firm mattress—about a 7.5–8/10. For context, firmer hybrids we’ve tested, such as the Plank Firm Luxe and the Bear Elite Hybrid, sit in the 8–10 range.

Sleep‑Position Suitability

A firm feel isn’t a drawback. The light cushioning under the hips was spot‑on for back and stomach sleepers, making this an excellent choice for those positions. Side sleepers may find it less forgiving. Adding the optional Saatva Graphite Memory Foam Topper (included in the Winter Bundle) provided extra cushion, but the topper is sold separately.

Motion Isolation & Bounce

The hybrid maintained a bouncy feel that accommodated movement between positions while delivering good motion isolation—my partner wasn’t disturbed when I turned over.

Temperature & Cooling

Even with the graphite‑infused topper, the mattress isn’t a “cooling” model. It stays temperature‑neutral, avoiding excessive heat buildup, but it doesn’t feel cool to the touch.

Service & Warranty

Saatva includes free white‑glove delivery (setup and old‑mattress haul‑away), a 365‑night sleep trial with no break‑in period, and a lifetime warranty—features that reinforce the brand’s reputation for quality service.

Overall, the Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid is a high‑quality offering that lives up to the brand’s standards. Its firm feel, solid support, and comprehensive service package make it a strong contender for back and stomach sleepers seeking a reliable hybrid mattress.
