As DDR5 memory kit prices have set records in the U.S., Europe is beginning to show signs of a decline. A DDR5 pricing graph posted to a PC‑enthusiast community on Reddit suggests that average 32 GB DDR5 kits across the EU have started to trend downward after a sharp spike earlier this year.
European DDR5 price trend
The chart (July 2025 – February 2026) shows average prices hovering around €95 – €100 in early autumn, climbing to a peak of roughly €430 – €470 in early February, then beginning to fall again toward the end of the period.

Our own price checks
To add clarity, we tracked the price history of five popular 32 GB DDR5‑6000/6400 dual‑channel kits from Crucial, Corsair, G.Skill, Kingston, and Patriot on Amazon Germany using the CamelCamelCamel service.

Among the kits examined, only the Corsair and Kingston models showed steep declines:
- Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB DDR5‑6000 – from ~€480 in early February to ~€425 now.
- Kingston Fury Beast 32 GB DDR5‑6000 – from ~€550 in early January to €463 at press time.
All kits are now priced below their recent peaks. Note that European retail prices include VAT, unlike U.S. listings.
U.S. price comparison
We performed a similar check for the same kits on Amazon.com. While prices remain high relative to September 2025 levels, some models (e.g., G.Skill, Patriot) are showing modest corrections, though the overall trend is not yet clearly downward.

Outlook
A €400 price tag for a 32 GB DDR5‑6000 kit in 2026 is still far above what would be considered normal. Prices are unlikely to return to pre‑shortage levels until one or more of the following occurs:
- A significant drop in overall memory demand.
- New DRAM production capacity coming online in late 2026 – 2027.
- DRAM manufacturers transitioning to more efficient process technologies.
Nevertheless, the early signs of correction indicate that the current retail prices are unsustainably high, prompting retailers to reduce their tags.
