Pixel 10a Overview
The Pixel 10a has arrived and, as per usual, boosted trade‑in values are among the best ways to score a discount. Google is offering solid values for Pixel 4a owners.
Google’s latest mid‑range release, the Pixel 10a, feels pretty familiar compared to the previous generation. It shares the same chipset, overall design, and most features, but the vibrant new “Berry” color is a compelling temptation.
While there isn’t a strong reason to upgrade a Pixel 9a to a Pixel 10a, the trade‑in boosts make the 10a a solid upgrade from older Pixel A‑series devices.
Trade‑in Credits for A‑Series Devices
- Pixel 4a and Pixel 5a (no longer receiving Android updates) get a $100 trade‑in credit toward the Pixel 10a on the Google Store – double what you’d receive for a Pixel 9a or Pixel 10.
- Pixel 6a is boosted to $125, a needed upgrade since updates for that device end in just over a year.
- Pixel 7a receives the best overall A‑series trade‑in, making a big jump to the 10a given recent Tensor improvements.
Discount Codes
Google also sent out discount codes to some Pixel owners ahead of the launch, though it’s unclear if those codes stack with trade‑ins.
Trade‑in Values by Device
Trade‑in values for other brands aren’t as high, but there are decent deals for iPhone and Galaxy devices. The iPhone 13, for example, offers an especially good trade‑in value.
