No, the Galaxy S26 series doesn’t support AirDrop (yet)

Google shocked everyone last year when it announced that Quick Share on Pixel 10 would now support Apple’s AirDrop with iPhones, iPads, and Macs. It works really well, and expanded to the Pixel 9 family recently as well.
Current AirDrop support on the Galaxy S26 series
Despite rumors, the Galaxy S26 series does not yet support AirDrop via Quick Share. In the current software build, Apple devices in “Everyone” mode do not appear as share targets, and Galaxy S26 devices are not available as share options from iPhone.
Leaker claims and timeline
Leaker @chunvn8888 posted a screenshot suggesting AirDrop support on One UI 8.5, but 9to5Google confirmed this was a build for early test units shown just before Samsung’s launch event. If it reaches production, we might see it in a few weeks, though Samsung’s software rollouts have been unpredictable lately.
