Introduction

This submission is for the New Year, New You Portfolio Challenge presented by Google AI.

I’m a passionate software engineer and machine‑learning enthusiast, currently working as an SWE at Arrcus Networks. I have previously contributed at Zoho (audio‑ML), and completed a software developer internship at naas.ai.

My background spans data science, networking, and full‑stack development, and I enjoy building intelligent systems and scalable web applications. I’m a lifelong learner who emphasizes practical implementation through projects and hackathons. In my free time I contribute to open‑source, write technical blogs, explore deep learning and web development, learn German, and play football whenever I can.

Technologies Used

  • Next.js – Structured the app with a fast, scalable React framework
  • Antigravity – Orchestrated backend logic and agent workflows
  • Gemini 2.5 Flash (AI Studio) – Powered real‑time AI reasoning and responses (LLM)
  • ElevenLabs Agent – Enabled natural, expressive voice interactions
  • Google Cloud Run – Deployed and scaled the app serverlessly
  • Tailwind + shadcn – Designed a clean, modern UI with reusable components
  • Email.js – Integrated a seamless contact‑form page with minimal setup

Performance Metrics

  • Achieved 100/100 Lighthouse Performance on multiple factors of the Next.js production build
  • Recorded 0.3 s First Contentful Paint (FCP) and 0.4 s Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), far exceeding Core Web Vitals targets
  • Maintained 0 ms Total Blocking Time with near‑zero main‑thread work
  • Kept Cumulative Layout Shift under 0.005, ensuring visual stability
  • Scored 100 SEO and 96 Best Practices, meeting production‑grade standards
  • Improved overall performance from 83 → 100 by optimizing images, JavaScript payloads, and caching
  • Delivered a fully AI‑powered app while keeping sub‑second load times

Future Improvements

  • Enhance accessibility, ensuring the site remains usable even when viewed for only a few seconds up to a minute.
  • Refine the landing page to better reflect my core skills and projects.
  • Integrate demo videos and hackathon footage as reels/shorts.
  • Continuously add new content and features to keep the portfolio fresh and engaging.
