New “Sort by” control for Notifications

A new “Sort by” control appears on the Notifications page, offering two options:

• Newest to oldest – matches the previous behavior.
• Oldest to newest – new option.

The selected sort order applies across every view and persists across sessions.

Impact on grouped notifications

When notifications are grouped by repository, sorting affects:

• The order of the groups themselves.
• The order of items within each group.

This lets you work through your backlog methodically without needing to navigate to the last page and work backwards to find your oldest notifications.
