Background

I discovered this project after the Logi Options Plus software updater suddenly started consuming 40–60 % of my Intel MacBook Pro’s CPU until I killed the process (it would restart automatically). In searching for a solution, I found a Reddit discussion where other users reported the same issue.

Project

I am a minor contributor to Mouser, an open‑source alternative to Logitech’s proprietary mouse software. The goal is to reduce or eliminate the need for Logitech’s software and telemetry. Contributions and interest from the community are welcome.
