It’s a tale as old as time. Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 have leaked, almost a full week before the company’s launch event.

The Galaxy Buds 4 aren’t the only earbuds—or even devices—getting released at Samsung Unpacked. On February 25, the company is expected to debut the Galaxy S26 lineup, and the Buds and Buds Pro series are just the cherry on top.

According to newly leaked images from a retailer’s website, the Galaxy Buds 4 have nothing left to hide (via SammyGuru). Previous leaks showed the Buds 4’s stemmed design, but these new shots are more comprehensive, displaying the earbuds, the case from different angles, and the Buds 4 inside the case while charging.

Leak Overview

The images reveal that the Buds 4 will retain the stem from the previous model, though the stem is simplified without the triangular profile seen before. This change gives the earbuds a slightly cheaper look, reminiscent of late‑2010s models that could be found for $50 or less.

Design and Features

  • Eartips: The Buds 4 will not include silicone eartips, which isn’t unexpected. The Pro model will continue to offer more comfortable eartips.
  • Microphone: A top microphone port is visible, featuring a larger circular design rather than the slotted look of earlier versions.
  • Charging case: The case has a transparent lid that keeps the Buds 4 visible while charging. It adopts a traditional square shape with a USB‑C port on the back. The design is similar to the case seen with the Buds 3, moving away from the vertical storage design of earlier generations.
  • Software: The listing notes support for “two AI assistants,” likely Bixby and Gemini, along with adaptive sound, 3D sound customization, and head‑gesture controls. Water resistance is rated at IP55.
  • Battery: The leak mentions a 24‑hour total playback time, though battery capacity details are scarce. Rumors suggest a slightly smaller battery with comparable endurance.

Pricing and Release

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Buds 4 on February 25 alongside its other major releases. The Buds 4 are rumored to retain a price similar to last year’s model, as indicated in a separate leak.
