More than two years after its first season wrapped, Apple TV has finally premiered the long‑awaited return of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. The second season is now streaming.
Following months of buildup—including Apple’s announcement of a new prequel series centered on a young Lee Shaw—the show returns with fresh storylines. The original series debuted on Apple TV in November 2023 to high praise from sci‑fi fans and specialized media, and early reviews of season 2 are equally positive.
The series is part of the Monsterverse franchise, which unites Legendary’s interconnected stories about Godzilla, Kong, and other Titans. Its first season followed “two siblings looking to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch,” per Apple’s description.
