Limitations for Developers

• No persistent memory – context does not carry over between sessions.
• No document analysis – cannot process PDFs, spreadsheets, or code files.
• No external integrations – operates as a walled garden; cannot interact with services outside Meta’s ecosystem.
• No assistant API – while Llama models can be self‑hosted, the Meta AI assistant itself lacks an API for workflow integration.

• Avocado model delay: Originally slated for March, now postponed to at least May 2026. Internal tests place it between Gemini 2.5 and 3.0, falling short of frontier expectations.
