Setapp Mobile to Close in the EU
Ukraine‑based developer MacPaw announced that it will shut down Setapp Mobile, its alternative iOS app store for the European Union, next month.
- Closure date: February 16, 2026
- Launch: Open beta began in September 2024
According to a support‑page statement from MacPaw, the decision to discontinue the service was made after evaluating the market conditions and regulatory environment in the EU. The company thanked users for their support and encouraged them to transition to other platforms.
