Overview
The single most impressive piece of technology at CES 2026 was LG’s revamped Wallpaper TV, the OLED evo W6. It’s about as thin as a typical pencil, completely wireless, and incorporates LG’s latest OLED technology for rich colors and anti‑reflective capabilities. Engadget awarded the Wallpaper set the “Best TV of CES 2026” award because of its striking appearance.
Pricing
- 77‑inch evo W6 – $5,500
- 83‑inch evo W6 – $7,500
Both models carry a $1,000 premium over the OLED evo G6, LG’s highest‑end TVs without the ultra‑thin Wallpaper design.
Comparison with Other LG OLED Models
While the thicker G6 models offer a better value, the Wallpaper series delivers a unique “wow factor” that may justify the extra cost for many buyers.
More Affordable Options
- 43‑inch C6 – starting at $1,399
- 65‑inch C5 – around $1,000 (often found on sale)
- 77‑inch C5 – approximately $1,500
These older or mainstream OLEDs are slightly less bright and may show more reflections, but they still provide OLED’s hallmark high contrast and deep black levels, especially in dim rooms.
