Judge rules Trump administration violated the First Amendment in fight against ICE-tracking

Federal district court Judge Jorge L. Alonso of the Northern District of Illinois held that the Trump administration violated the First Amendment when it pressured Facebook and Apple to remove ICE‑tracking groups and apps. Judge Alonso granted a preliminary injunction to the plaintiffs:
- Kassandra Rosado, administrator of the ICE Sightings – Chicagoland Facebook group
- Kreisau Group, developers of the Eyes Up app
