Rumored Color Options
Last week, Macworld’s Filipe Espósito reported that Apple is testing four color options for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, and one of those colors has since been corroborated by a known leaker on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.
The four alleged color options include:
- Light Blue – looks similar to the iPhone 13 Pro’s Sierra Blue color.
- Dark Cherry – described as a mix of burgundy, coffee, and deep purple. Earlier rumors mentioned a “deep red” color, which appears to be the same as Dark Cherry.
- Dark Gray – could resemble either the iPhone 13 Pro’s Graphite finish or the iPhone 14 Pro’s Space Black, depending on the shade.
- Silver – remains Apple’s classic color.
Discontinued Colors
Macworld indicated that Cosmic Orange and Deep Blue are likely to be discontinued and should not be expected on the iPhone 18 Pro models.
Context
Macworld accurately leaked the iPhone 17 Pro’s Cosmic Orange and Deep Blue colors, but its report also mentioned black, white, and gray options that did not materialize. Consequently, at least some of the rumored iPhone 18 Pro colors may prove true, though it remains uncertain whether Apple will adopt all four.
