Apple does not advertise RAM amounts in iPhones, but MacRumors has confirmed this information through Apple’s developer tool Xcode.
Like the iPhone 16e, the iPhone 17e is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, according to the Xcode data. This was the expected amount of RAM, and it is the minimum required for a device to be compatible with Apple Intelligence.
This means both the standard iPhone 17 model and the lower‑end iPhone 17e are equipped with the A19 chip and 8 GB of RAM. However, the iPhone 17e has a slightly limited 4‑core GPU, while the iPhone 17 has a 5‑core GPU.
