New emoji coming with iOS 26.4 are available now in beta

Every year, the Unicode Consortium votes to approve a new batch of emoji that are later added to iPhone, Android, Windows, and other platforms.
The iOS 26 batch of new emoji were officially approved last summer, and they’re now being added with iOS 26.4.
Available in today’s beta 4 release are the following new emoji:
- Ballet Dancers
- Distorted Face
- Fight Cloud
- Hairy Creature
- Landslide
- Orca
- Trombone
- Treasure Chest
Although Apple Intelligence lets iPhone users create their own “Genmoji,” these additions are important because they join the cross‑platform emoji standard. Once iOS 26.4 and other compatible updates ship, you’ll be able to send and receive these emoji across various messaging platforms.
If you want a sneak peek at the emoji being considered for iOS 27, the current candidates—still awaiting approval—are listed here. They include leftward and rightward thumb‑sign gestures, a meteor, a smiley face with squinting eyes, an eraser, and more.
