We had some prior knowledge about the company as the placement committee had conducted a session with the CEO & CTO before the placement drive.

Interview Structure

- Section B: Aptitude & Logical Reasoning
- Section C: DSA Coding Question (Easy to Medium)
- Section D: Scenario‑Based Coding Question
First Round – Group Discussion
Format: On‑site
- Groups of 5 students.
- Introductions followed by a discussion on “Can Art & Pop Culture benefit our society?”
- I contributed 2–3 valid points.
Outcome: After 15 minutes, a shortlist was announced. I was one of the two students selected for the Cloud/DevOps role.
Second Round – Technical Interview (Cloud/DevOps)
Format: On‑site
- Focused entirely on Cloud/DevOps, the role I applied for.
- Started with a brief self‑introduction, then the interviewer moved to my projects.
Projects Discussed
- Database research project.
- Several AWS‑based projects.
Sample Questions
- How did you deploy your backend app on AWS EC2?
- What is AWS Lambda, and how does it differ from EC2?
- Explain serverless architecture.
- Questions about S3 buckets and related services.
Tips for This Round
- Explain your projects thoroughly; interviewers often ask follow‑up questions.
- Prepare in advance and review common domain‑specific interview questions.
Final Outcome
After three hours of waiting, I received a message from the placement team stating that I was not moving forward.
- The company selected 3 students for the SDE role and 1 for the Cloud role.
- Later, the Cloud student was moved to the SDE profile, per the company’s decision.
Result: Rejected
