What are Workstreams?

Workstreams are AI‑generated clusters of related achievements in BragDoc.
Instead of a chronological list, your work is organized by the themes it actually represents, such as:

  • Backend Performance Optimization — 8 achievements
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring — 12 achievements
  • API Design & Integration — 6 achievements

The groupings are created automatically based on the content of your achievements, not merely on dates or project names.

Benefits

Easier performance reviews

Six months of achievements can be overwhelming. Workstreams place each achievement in context, giving you clear talking points and a quick view of where you’ve spent your time and the impact you’ve had.

Visible career patterns

Workstreams reveal whether you’re becoming more specialized or more of a generalist, and whether you’re developing the skills you want to grow. The visual “shape” of your work over time becomes apparent.

Narrative storytelling

When asked, “What have you been working on?” you can answer with a concise narrative about the themes that define your contributions, rather than a long list of tasks.

Upcoming Features

Next week we’ll launch the first version of the bragdoc.ai Performance Reviews tool, which builds on Workstreams to automatically generate polished self‑reviews. The generated documents can be fully customized to match your company’s review process, and you can create multiple reviews that reference each other.

Availability

Workstreams are available to all BragDoc users who have 20 or more achievements. Simply click “Generate Workstreams” in your dashboard and watch your achievements organize themselves into meaningful groups.
